The conference will be held at Horton Grange an Edwardian style house standing in attractive and peaceful gardens, just five minutes walk from the main University of Birmingham campus. It is G13 on this map.

Getting to and from Horton Grange and the University of Birmingham

The University benefits from excellent public transport links providing access to numerous destinations up and down the UK for staff, students and visitors.

By train

The University is the only UK university to have its own railway station on campus, known as ‘University Station’.  University Station is only two stops from Birmingham New Street. The journey between the University and Birmingham New Street takes approximately eight minutes.

By taxi

There are taxi ranks at New Street Station and throughout the city centre. The journey to the University takes about ten minutes

By car

There is very limited visitor car parking on campus. The three visitor car parks are:

  • North East Car Park (access via Pritchatts Road) Sat Nav Postcode B15 2SA
  • North Car Park (access via Pritchatts Rd) Sat Nav Postcode B15 2SB
  • Pritchatts Road Car Park (at the junction with Vincent Drive) Sat Nav Postcode B15 2QU

The following charges apply for visitor car parking:

  • Up to 1 hour £2.00
  • 1-3 hours £3.00
  • 3-5 hours £4.00
  • 5-8 hours £6.00
